A (water)bird's-eye-view of a crash

Back in March last year I posted a video of jet boat crashes. Some of them were rather spectacular. All were filmed from outside the craft.

Now comes this video of a jet boat crash from inside the craft in question. It gives one a whole new perspective on what it must feel like to travel at such speed on water . . . and come to a grinding halt.

Impressive!

Jetsprint boat racing must rank as one of the highest buzz sports ever invented! They are quite popular over here and with good reason: bang for buck, only thing that even gets near on adrenaline rush is base-jumping.

I dunno, I had pretty great adrenalin rushes when I was skiing down an unlighted steep slope nighttime with tinted snowgoggles and used the skijumps in my teens. ;)

Of course I pretty much knew the slope by heart, and the sky was clear, so ambient light on snow wasn't THAT bad.

The track worker is lucky to have been where he was and not three feet to the right!

THAT would qualify as an E-ticket ride :-)
